If at all possible, use a wired (LAN) connection as opposed to Wi-Fi!

Connection Speed Test

  1. Connect to the Nexam Dashboard
  2. In the left margin, click Validate my device
  3. Click Connection speed test

  4. Click GO.   DOWNLOAD needs to be at least 10 Mbps to pass this test, and UPLOAD needs to be at least 2 Mbps.

Other Tips and Tricks

  • Prioritize cable connection over Wi-Fi
  • At home, make sure you are the only one using the internet during your exam
  • Get closer to your router if you are on Wi-Fi
