You can adjust the appearance of your mouse pointer directly in your computer settings. Here's how to do it:

Windows

  • Go to Start > Settings > Mouse Properties.
  • Under Change pointer size, adjust the cursor until it's just right for you.
  • Change the color of the pointer to make it more visible, whether white, black, inverted, or a bright color of your choice.

MacBook

  • On your Mac, choose Apple menu > System Settings, click on Accessibility in the sidebar, then click on Screen on the right (you may have to scroll down).
  • Go to Pointer, then set one of these options:
    • Pointer size: Drag the slider until the pointer size is right for you.

    • Pointer outline color: Click the color well to select a color for the pointer’s outline.

    • Pointer fill color: Click the color well to select a color for the inside of the pointer.

    • Reset Colors: Use the default pointer outline color (white) and fill color (black).
