It is possible to select the camera to use during your exam, whether it is integrated or external to the computer. Here are the steps to authorize the use of your external webcam:

  • Ensure that your webcam is connected to the computer and functioning properly.

  • In the "Validate my device" section, click the "Inactive" button to activate the camera.

    • If an error message appears, it means that sharing permissions have not been granted, and a red "x" will be displayed on the video icon in the URL address bar.

    • Click on the option "Always allow https://app.nexam.io to access your camera" and select the external camera from the dropdown menu.

    • You can view and modify sharing permissions directly in the browser by clicking the "Manage" button.

To modify permissions in the browser:

  • Click on the three vertical dots at the top right of the browser, then click on "Settings."
